2018 Joliet Slammers Tickets

On Tuesday, May 15th, the PSD 202 Middle School Bands & Choirs will be performing the Star-Spangled Banner when the Joliet Slammers play the Evansville Otters.  The game will start at 7:05 PM and students should arrive at the right field (first base) gate at 6:00 PM.  This outstanding opportunity will also support music in our schools!

Families need to purchase tickets through the band boosters to see the game.

Tickets will be distributed the week before the game during school.  In the case of rain, the performance will not be made up but the standard Rain Policy will apply to all tickets purchased (good for any regular season home game).  Once tickets have been paid for, we cannot make refunds under any circumstances, so please plan accordingly!

  • For the performance, students should wear:
    • Jeans (pants or shorts are acceptable depending on the weather)
    • Closed-toe shoes with backings
    • School spirit wear shirt or school colors
  • Tickets must be purchased for all attending the game.
    • Children 2 and under are free and do NOT require a ticket.
    • The student performer will need a ticket purchased for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this event required?
A: Nope! This is just a really fun way for music students to have one last performance at the end of the year! No points are gained or lost, just a unique memory to add to all the other great experiences they've had in band and choir!

Q: Where do I park?
A: There is no designated parking for the Joliet Slammers, but there are several parking decks in downtown Joliet that are free in the evenings.

Q: Are we assigned specific seats?
A: Yes, all seats are assigned by the Joliet Slammers. We usually take up half of the ballpark, so everyone should feel free to move around and sit with their friends.

Q: Will there be food available?
A: Yes, you can purchase food and drink at the event throughout the evening, but you may not bring outside food or beverage to Route 66 Stadium.

Q: How will I find my child after the performance?
A: Band students will put instruments away first and then they will find the seat on their ticket (that will be right by yours). Choir students will go back through the home plate gate and up into the stadium where they will find their ticketed seat (that will be right by yours).

Q: Can we leave early?
A: Absolutely! Leave whenever you need to.
